Last summer I came back to the area for my grandmother's
funeral...I took a cruise by Chaffey and realized how
beautiful the campus really was. It also got me thinking
about the 4 years of my life I spent there. Now, I'm
dying to find out about all of the people that meant so
much to me then. I

Awesome! I found you through
your sports page. I am a volleyball coach at Elkton
High School. I was looking up volleyball and saw your
web page for your volleyball team. I viewed the
various team pictures of your team. Elkton is about 3
hours south of Portland, Oregon or 3 hours north of
Medford Oregon. We are about 30 miles from Reedsport on
the Oregon Coast. Our school size is 140 K-8 and 86
in our high school, 9-12. Our volleyball team is headed
to district this Saturday, November 6th. We are in the
1A Division - 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A - so we are pretty small.

1245 North Euclid Avenue, Ontario, California,

visit the very inspirational moving wall dedicated to honor the 58,213 veterans whose names
are inscribed on it. Viewing is available twenty-four hours a day,
from Saturday, October 23,
until Friday, October 29.
The opening ceremonies will be held in Gardiner West Spring Auditorium on Saturday, October 23,
at 2:00 P.M. There will be a special remembrance of the one hundred fifteen men who came
from Ontario and the surrounding communities.

Thanks for signing the Guestbook. We tried to find your
school on
Route 66 Page, but with no luck.
We were curious, with your name of Chaffey, if by chance
you know about the
Chaffey Family that founded our city of Ontario and
our school. I see on the map that you are fairly close
to the River Murray, and it is Mildura and the water
projects that the Chaffeys worked on in late 1895 and 1896
and later.
The Chaffey Mildura House is still
there, I think.
They also founded a Chaffey School there in Mildura. Let
us know if you know about it, or are close by.
It is Sunday morning here, so it must be very early
Monday morning over
there, right? Almost 5:00 A.M. Check out our
