Saturday, January 15:
1. Lenwood McDonald's.
2. Baker Chevron Station.
3. Resting Spring Road Cut.
4. Shoreline Butte and Ashford Mill.
5. Copper Canyon Turtleback.
6. Badwater.
7. Natural Bridge Canyon. Turtleback fault.
8. Devil's Golf Course.

~5:00 PM: Texas Spring Camp.

6:30 PM: Drive to Evening Program at DVNP Visitor Center.

7:00-8:00 PM: Evening Program.

9:00 PM: Group Meeting.
Sunday, January 16:
-
6:00 AM: Wake up and breakfast. Bring your daypack with lunch, water, journal, pencil, extra clothes.

7:00 AM: Depart for Scotty's Castle.

Stops:
1. Scotty's Castle.
2. Ubehebe Crater.
3. Sand Dunes.
Monday, January 17:
1. Dante's View.
2. Return to camp and pack up.
3. Visitor Center.
4. Mosaic Canyon.
5. Stovepipe Wells. Lunch. A Minimart is available.

1:00 PM: Depart for home.

We will call 2 hours before arrival time.
CLOTHING:
The average maximum temperature for the month of January is 65o F. with the highest being
85o and the lowest being 15o. Expect 60s to 70s during the day and 30s at night. Average rainfall is 1.5 inches per year .
Rain gear, warm jacket, long pants, shorts, sun glasses, etc. See NESC gear list.
EQUIPMENT:
Journal, pencil, tent, warm sleeping bag, pad, cooking utensils, flashlight, water bottle, food, day pack, toiletries. Pack in boxes or duffel bags. NO loose items. Water and restrooms are available at camp. Please recycle aluminum, plastic and glass.
DO NOT BRING:
Alcohol, tobacco, recreational substances, radios, tape players, cell phones or pagers.
