Career Center OnLine: We went online last Thursday. This means students can now visit their favorite college, scholarship, test, and career sites. Students can now get the latest information on the web and even register online for the SAT. Bookmarking these favorite sites is being accomplished. If you know of a website that should be marked please let me know. (SH-26)
California State University San Bernardino Application: CSUSB is still accepting applications. If you apply by April 4th 2000, you will be eligible for priority registration. Call Admissions & Student Recruitment at (909) 880-5188 for an appointment to be admitted On the Spot. You can also apply online at www.csumentor.edu
Job Skills Workshop: Baldy View ROP will provide Job skills training. Learn how to: Prepare for the job search, fill-out applications, write a resume, Interview, dress for an interview. No pre-registration is required, although attendance will be limited to the first 100 participants. 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 25, 2000.

Spartan School of Aeronautics offers training programs in aviation maintenance, professional pilot, aviation electronics (avionics), instruments, communication electronics, nondestructive testing/quality control, and English as a Second language.

q The B.D. “NINO” Galleano Memorial Scholarship: Three (3) awards of $1,000 dollars each is being offered through this scholarship program. If you are a graduating senior who has a 3.0 GPA , demonstrated moral character during high school, and wishes to study in a science or agricultural field then please stop on by and pick up your application. Deadline is April 28th 2000.OPEN HOUSE THIS SATURDAY: March 25th @ 8:30
1. Fall 1999 enrollment in SDSU's College of Engineering is up 65% among first-time freshman.
2. For the second straight year (1999, 2000), SDSU placed in Hispanic Magazine's "Top 25 Colleges and Universities for Hispanics," ranking 22nd among the best choices in the United States for Latino students.
3. Forty-two percent of SDSU's undergraduate student population identify themselves as a member of an underrepresented ethnic group.
4. In a spring 1999 survey of SDSU students, freshman through graduate, 93 percent said they were very satisfied or satisfied with their experience at SDSU.
