You are invited to participate in a Career Exploration Day to be held on Wednesday May 15, 2002, here at Chaffey High School.

We are extending this invitation to business and professional leaders to meet with our students and their parents to orient them toward various occupations, including an explanation of entry-level requirements, the pluses and minuses of particular jobs, and, most importantly, your own personal insights into your occupation. As you know, there is nothing like hearing it from the source.

We are also extending this invitation to colleges and universities. We hope that as students explore various careers, they will be able to make the connection to higher education as well. We would like College Representatives (or student ambassadors) to share with our students the variety of majors your school offers, and which majors lead to which careers. In addition, an explanation of entrance requirements, as well as, your own college and career experiences would be very helpful.

Such an affair should lead to more informed career and college choices by our students.

We are confident that our students and their parents will enjoy meeting with you. Similarly, you should find the experience to be a rewarding one. Can we count on you to join us for the morning?
