Chaffey High School Scholarship Bulletin
Unless otherwise specified, all applications and information are for seniors and is in North Hall 1 with Mrs. Bertone.
Northtown Housing Development --
Applicant's family income must be less than $30,000 and must have a 2.0 GPA. To apply you must submit an essay discussing “Community Service: Making a Difference in my Neighborhood,” complete the application and have two letters of recommendation. Deadline is May 10th.
Bill Pitts Math Scholarship --
If you are interested in pursuing a career in math and have a 3.5 GPA, come in for the Bill Pitts Scholarship. $500 will be awarded by Associated Chaffey Teachers. Deadline is May 13th.
Chaffey Alumni Scholarship --
All students are encouraged to apply -- not just those whose parents are Alumni. No minimum GPA. Service and activities are a definite plus. Come in to get an application. Interviews will be May 22nd. Due to Mrs. Bertone May 15th.
Sue Moncla Memorial Scholarship --
Available to seniors who are majoring in Art at a university or community college, contemplating a teaching career or have taken a number of art classes at CHS. Scholarships range from $250 to $1500. Deadline to return is 3:00 on May 17th.
Lambda Theta Nu --
$250 award for community involvement and academic excellence. Applicant must be a female of Latino Heritage or be able to demonstrate dedication to community service and empowerment of the Latina(o) community. Deadline is May 20th.
Music Scholarship --
Are you planning to pursue music? The Music Teachers Association is offering a $1000 scholarship to a student who has been accepted as a full time music degree candidate at a four-year institution. Deadline is June 1.
Sport Foundation --
Offering $500 to $1,000 scholarships for students who excel in academics, participate in sports, have an interest in sports medicine or are involved in community activities. Come in and get an application. Deadline is June 7th.
