STRS Individual Counseling Interviews
STRS Individual Counseling Interviews will be held at the District Office March 26, 27, & 28, 2003. Certificated employees who are thing about retirement are encouraged to schedule a confidential interview with an STRS Retirement Technician to discuss their STRS benefits. This week’s focus: English – Reading Comprehension: Assuming Causes and Predicting Effects on Monday, Reading Comprehension: Determining Desired Effects on Tuesday, Reading Comprehension: Emotional and Logical Appeals on Wednesday and Thursday, and Reading Comprehension Assessment on Friday.
Mathematics – G11-12 (Finding measures of corresponding parts of similar figures) on Monday and Tuesday, G13-14 (Applying concepts of similar triangles to real world situations) on Wednesday and Thursday, and Maintenance 21 on Friday.

· I know that this is a difficult time of year to keep the motivation of your students on the focus lessons, but it is critical. I appreciate the hard work you have dedicated to our students throughout the year, now is the time to remind them that the goal is in sight! I would also ask that you would start to remind students on a daily basis of how their learning is going to be tested soon and they need to be prepared. Testing strategies, use of time, and pre-test preparation of study, rest, and nutrition. Thanks for all you’re doing, and let’s keep pressing on towards the mark!
