SENIOR INFORMATION SHEET - FEBRUARY, 2001

Cap/gown/announcements & Parent Night: Orders for caps and gowns will be taken on Monday, February 5th, during both lunches, at the south side of GWS. Makeup orders are scheduled for Monday, February 12th, in the same location. There will also be a parent information night on the 12th from 5-7 p.m. in the GWS foyer. Parents will have the opportunity to order graduation announcements and other Jostens products.

Senior Panoramic Picture: Date to be announced. (Most likely in late April or early May during Star testing). Pre sale orders will be taken in the Student Store after the picture proof arrives, for those who wish to purchase a picture. Approximate cost has been $11.00 or $14.00 for laminated picture.

Senior Prom: Is scheduled for Saturday, May 5th, at the American Cultural Center in Orange County. Cost will be announced in April as we get closer to the event. Pictures will be taken in Tiger Auditorium for couples from 4-6 p.m. and also at the Prom site by Sanford Studios. A price sheet and travel map will be available when you purchase your tickets.

Announcement Delivery: Will arrive at the beginning of May. If you had an outstanding balance, you may pay at the time they are delivered, or Jostens will take them back and contact you by mail for shipment of your announcements (however, you will be responsible for shipping costs). Announcements are handed out at the doors of GWS Auditorium upon arrival. Watch the student bulletin for delivery date.

Senior Awards Recognition Program: Is in the process of being planned, however, it is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, June 2nd.

Senior Charges: All charges must be cleared at the Library and Student Store in order to pick up cap and gown in June.

Cap & Gown Delivery: Caps and owns will be delivered in early June. Information will be in the Student Bulletin regarding dates for pick up, however, all outstanding charges must be cleared and a GOLD slip will be issued.

Commencement Tickets: Each senior will receive 10 tickets for their family and friends for the commencement services on Graber Field. If you have a large family, it is suggested that you plan to attend the Baccalaureate services, as tickets are not required and seniors are dressed in caps and gown. If you need more than 10 tickets, please check with friends in your class. 

Senior Code of Conduct: The senior code of conduct will be given out at the senior meeting during star testing. It is due no later than June 1st. You will not receive any graduation tickets unless we have your signed code of conduct.

Senior Field Day: Scheduled for Tuesday, June 5th, on Graber field. Seniors will be issued their yearbooks and a fun-filled day of activities is planned. More information available later in May.

Baccalaureate Services: Sunday, June 10th, GWS Auditorium. Program features music and speakers for the Class of 2000. No tickets are required and Seniors dress in cap and gown.

Grad Night at Disneyland: Grad Night is scheduled for Thursday, June 14th, following graduation. There will be more information regarding tickets and dress code later in the year.
Remember! If a senior has any unpaid charges, he or she will not participate in graduation ceremonies or receive a diploma.
