Tigers Get ORGANIZED!

by Rickie Mota, Editor Thanks to the administrators here at Chaffey, every student gets a chance to organize their homework assignments, activities, meetings, and important dates into brand new planners for FREE!

Distributed September 17, these planners will help Chaffey make a new investment to improve its educational environment. Ten thousand dollars were spent in buying these attractive new agendas. Involved with the project, Vice Principal, Mrs. Orozco, confidently stated, "The goal in purchasing these organizers is to influence Chaffey students to take responsibility for themselves and their education."

Not only do students get these thrifty handbooks, but teachers get their very own edition to help organize their annual plans as well. Newlywed Ms. Angel-Diaz has already put her organizer to work as well as other teachers.

Will students really use these planners? According to the unpredictable Andre Ouellette (99), they will: "Yeah! I think it's tight. There's a certain degree of hardcoreness which shows the dedication of the school to the students."

Chaffey is tremendously increasing its efforts to keep kids in school. When questioned about these organizers, Coach Goldstein made an excellent remark: "I believe that once the student becomes aware of the benefits that these organizers can provide, they will use them. It will be helpful in keeping track of due dates, homework assignments, and special events. In general It will help keep the student organized."
