Tiger Teacher of the Month
by Salina Colunga, Staff Writer Okay, listen up fellow Tigers! The Tiger
Teacher this month is a sweet, caring lady with pretty blonde hair and a soft
voice that always has something nice to say. Can you guess who it is? It's Mrs.
Jacklyn Peters, a U.S. History and former English teacher.
This year Mrs. Peters moved to North Hall to be with the rest of the History
teachers. Last year, when Mrs. Peters taught both U.S. History and English, she
was located in South Hall on the second floor. She decided to focus on just one
particular subject, History. As a result, she spent most of her summer moving
her belongings into a much smaller room.
Those of you who have not had the chance to meet Mrs. Peters but have only
heard rumors of her being a mean, strict teacher, just remember, those are
rumors! From many years of teaching, Mrs. Peters has found a way to get her
students to respect her.
Many of her students say she may be strict and brutally honest, but she
speaks the truth and gives teachers a good name.

Keep up the good work, Mrs. Peters. We hope to have you and many
other teachers with your dedication in the years to come…and two thumbs up on
your "cultural experiences"! |
