Tiger Spotlights
By Brianna Diaz, Editor & Nicole Garzaniti, Editorial Editor
Although the class of 2003 has only been with us for only a couple of months, the fresh- men are already boasting some shin- ing stars. Paige
Zelt joined us from Vina Danks and has high goals set in mind. |
| Paige was involved in cheerleading and track at her junior high, while still holding down a 3.7 G.P.A. This year Paige plans to join Chaffey’s swim team. She believes everybody should put all their effort into their work, so they could have success in anything they decide to do.
Besides babysitting after school, Paige likes to hang out with friends and go to the movies. |

Moe Vave stands out even on Chaffey’s beautiful campus. He always has a smile that brings sunshine to the cloudiest of days. Last year he helped campaign for the 1999 Homecoming Queen, Tele Tuivai. He is also a prestigious chamber singer. He plans on being on the cheer squad and believes his past history of always lending a helping hand will benefit the team tremendously. |
Friends mean everything to me, Moe shares, which explains why, in addition to his bright countenance, he is also well known for his loyal friendships.
Outstanding honor student Audrey Hueso (01) is being recognized as one of the top five students of her graduating class, with a G.P.A. of
4.3.
Audrey is a great example of the motto: If you put your mind to it, anything is possible. She somehow manages to play girls’ varsity soccer, is involved with her youth group’s activities, is part of Chaffey’s Christian Club, serves as a leader in CHS’ new Tiger Cubs program, and also manages to maintain impressive grades in all of her AP and Honors classes. |

|
Don’t think because Audrey’s life seems full that she doesn’t socialize. I like to hang out and eat with my best friends, Dija and Nizhoni, shares Audrey. She had just enough time to share her secrets of success with other students: Do your work, and don’t be lazy.

Robyn Wapner is an excellent example of perse- verance with a grin. She is Chaffey’s one and only Senior Class President. She is also on the varsity cheer squad as well as in ASB. Optimistic is an understatement when describing Robyn. Even on the go with cheer, ASB, and AP classes, she still finds time to study. Her G.P.A. rests comfortably between an unbelievable 4.0 and 4.5! If that weren’t enough, she was voted Most Unique in her graduating class. Consequently, her license plate lovingly reads, Born to be unique. |
