of 1972. I don't know if many of you remember me, but I was the guy
with real long hair. I remember hanging out at "the tree" at lunch. My
picture is not in the yearbook so you won't find me in there. I have alot
of fond memories of Chaffey: When the class of 71 baseball team went to
the state championship against North Torrence (went to every playoff game)
at Anaheim Stadium. Grad Nite at Disneyland, and so much more... Would
like to here from some of my fellow grads. GO TIGERS!!!! |

it's good when new messages get advocated. I'm no longer the gung-ho republican
you all knew, I turned into a social liberal. But I still have a sense

played football for Chaffey in the 50's, Marcel Cherpin. My mother also
worked for the school. The web page is wonderful I did enjoy it. I am doing
a project for my clear credential and I thank you for helping me complete

I found the listing for your grandfather, Marcel
Cherpin, in our archives, and he played, in 1945, his senior year, on the
C.B.L. Championship Varsity. One quote from the 1945 Fasti:

Both teams were really out to win.
The rooters went to town.
They cheered their favorites on their way
To score the first touchdown.

Also, your grandpa was a mid-term graduate according
to the Fasti:
"Graduating at the middle of the year owing to
