Links Scholarship --
African American Seniors who have a 2.5 GPA are eligible for this award. Selection will be based on financial need, contributions to the community, citizenship and potential for success. Due by March 31st.

CSU Dominguez Hills -- If you have applied to CSU Dominguez Hills and have over a 3.0 GPA, you are eligible for any of 9 different scholarships. One application does it all. Deadline March 28th.

Lagrant Foundation -- Attention African American, Asian Pacific American, Hispanic and Native American students! If you plan to pursue a degree in advertising, marketing or public relations, this is for you. You must be a US citizen and have a 2.5 GPA. Apply by March 28th.

Trenza-Chicana/Latina Seniors -- Trenza offers $500 academic and community based scholarships. You must have a 2.5 GPA. Deadline is March 30th.

Sophomores & Juniors!! Are you interested in biological, agricultural and environmental science? UC Davis has a summer residential program to provide university level research opportunities to high achieving students. The program is June 23rd to August 3rd. There is financial aid available. Apply early-deadline is March 31st.

Cabrillo Civic Club -- If you are of Portuguese descent and are planning to attend college, the Cabrillo Civic Clubs are offering a $400 scholarship. Application is due April 1st.

Mount Saint Mary’s College -- Are you interested in pursuing a degree in Music? Mount Saint Mary’s College is offering a scholarship audition on April 21st. You need to complete an application and return it to Mount Saint Mary’s by April 1st.

Gimme Five-Educaid is giving away $5,000 each month to a different student. Apply online at www.educaid.com.

Civil Service Employees Essay Competition -- Children of full-time public employees are invited to compete in an essay contest discussing how the teenage automobile accident rate can be reduced. Come in for more information. GPA of at least 3.0. 12 $500 scholarships available. Deadline is April 5th.

Chaffey Trust Fund Scholarship -- A very prestigious award! Each school in the district may choose 3 students, two of which will receive $500 and the third who will compete against other Chaffey District students for $1000-$1,500. Criteria for selection includes: academic record, student activities, potential for collegiate success, a written statement and a personal interview. If you are interested please write a statement of purpose not to exceed 250 words and submit it to Mrs. Bertone in North Hall 1 by April 12th.

CSEA -- If you have a parent who is in good standing with the California School Employees Association and you have a 3.0 GPA, you are eligible for this award. Deadline is April 26th.

Will To Win -- If you are an athlete with asthma, you qualify for this scholarship. You must be going to a four-year college and have good academic standing. Come in for an application-it is due April 30th!

The Community Foundation -- $600 scholarship available to a student with a minimum 3.0 GPA, at least one year honors coursework, 50 hours community service and admittance to a four-year university. Deadline is April 30th.

Ontario/Montclair Teahcers Assoc. Scholarship -- If you are interested in pursuing a career in education and attended the Ontario/ Montclair School District or your parents are employees of OMSC, you may apply for this scholarship. Minimum amount will be $100. Deadline May 1st. Call the office at 986-2414 for an application.

Educational Communications Scholarship -- 200 $1000 awards based on GPA, aptitude test scores, activities and financial need. Apply by May 15th!

Music Scholarship -- Are you planning to pursue music? The Music Teachers Association is offering a $1000 scholarship to a student who has been accepted as a full time music degree candidate at a four-year institution. Deadline is June 1.
