To all of those from the class of 1993, I say hello! To those of you that don't
know me, I was the one that had the pleasure of shooting Mr. Cadwallader in the
face with silly string during the Spring Fling of 1992. (Remember the Star Trek
Skit?) Chaffey has left me with many happy memories. To my friends whom I have

your Alumni pages:Why do you have "Funky Town" as the song for the
80's? That's like putting "Beat It" as the song for the 90's. and the
for the 90's you put a song on that's 2 months old for the entire decade! As
though, the class that graduated one year after me, is so with it, and I'm busy
rockin' out to "Funky Town" thinking back to the good ole' days before
electricity and cars were invented. Can you please find a middle ground like a
hit from 1985 for the 80's and a hit from 1995 for the 90's?Or just do me a
favor and go all the way - make the song from the 80's "When Irish Eyes Are
Smiling" or "Moon River"! |

think the school is huge and very beautiful in person. I used to walk by it
every morning on the way to school because I used to go to Vina Danks about
three years ago. That's when I moved up here, northern california. I really miss
living there it was beautiful but it also isn't a nice place for kids to grow up
in.I lived in that area 10 years and miss it and my family. |

scattered about the Western States and Hawaii. I'm holding my own with a 6

on!! Who chose "Staying Alive" by the BeeGees as the background music
for the 1970's alumni section for Chaffey High School?!? Obviously the designer
did not attend Chaffey High School during the 1970's. Perhaps this is a wry

to Chaffey Secondary College Mildura, Victoria, Australia: We received your
E-Mail this morning (Gareth Hall, Erin Barnes, Eza, Peter Calnan, James Saris,
and last but not least, Evette -- Evie, you forgot to sign your last name!). My
two Geometry classes enjoyed them today, but we had a big debate if you folks
out there are a day ahead of us or a day behind us. They WILL know by tomorrow,
or they will have the biggest test they have ever seen.I also told my classes
that Mildura was founded by George Chaffey after he left Ontario and sailed to
Australia. We even have pictures I showed them of the Mildura site in 1887 and
one in 1928. He built your Deakin Avenue exactly as he built our Euclid Avenue.
You can see some pictures on our HomePage and the Virtual Tour, but we have a
lot of work to do on that yet. The kids should be getting some replies by this
evening (? morning ?), but we have a lot of questions what your school means by
7 and 10, the weather, how long are vacations (THAT they wanted to know), but
they heard of every movie except Blue Heelers and Footy Show. Hope you send more
info, and the kids are welcome to use this GuestBook if they do not have an
E-Mail address at home. Oh, they also want to know if kangaroos can really jump
over your house to avoid being caught, and how big are your koala) bears? We
have thousands of eucalyptus trees they can munch on. It was the Chaffey
brothers who imported the eucalyptus seed, and gave it away free encouraging the
growth of trees here in our "desert". (Never mind questions about math
and geometry, oh no, heavens forbid!) |
