I sure like the Chaffey High School Homepage.
It is great to be re-united with fellow alumni.
I have re-contacted some old and close friends and
classmates. Keep up the good work. I would like to
know if you have, or plan to have a memorial page for
each year of the graduated classes. I just learned of
one classmate who passed away but do not know the
circumstances. It would have meant so much to have
known about it. You could get your information from
other classmates and the Bureau of Vital Statistics.
It would be really nice to get information on fellow
alumni and if you ask the members of your site I think
they would agree and also begin to send you info on our
departed classmates. Why not set up a poll and ask your
members if they would like to see a memorial page of
departed alumni.

Well I was at Chaffey, I remember; I suppose I had some
fun. Most of the people there were jerks, but oh well,
there were the nice ones, here and there. Most of the
people turned fake, but once again, there were some real
ones. There were good and bad teachers and Ms. Hammillton,
Mr Santia, Mr Mercado and Mr Hawkings were really good.
All in all, I'm sure I learned something from the
experience, I just haven't figured out what yet.

Concerning Roger Wolf,
Class of 57. We read in Tiger Tracks
Class of 57 reunion book that Roger Wolfe
is deceased. We would very much like to hear from anyone
who knows the details of his death.
Roger was a dear friend of ours during high school and
college and unfortunately we lost track of him
after we moved to Ohio and were greatly sadden to learn
of his death.

1970 is the best year! When I went to Imperial Junior High
(not the name anymore) I learned to play the guitar and
we played surf music and expecially the Ventures.
Well, that was 1965 and some 34 years later I live next
door to
lead guitarist for the Ventures. He recently received
a Platinum record for his song in the movie Pulp Fiction.
Small world!

Imperial Junior High has been renamed the
Ray Wiltsey Middle School. It is listed on the Main
Page of the
Ontario Montclair School District.
Next,
there is a Nikki (Nikkiann) Rossman listed in the 1968
Fasti (and Directory). I have contacted her to see if she knows Tony
(listed "Anthony" in the Directory), but she has not
retuned the call yet. Will let you know.

Thanks. We will be uploading more history about our 1882
founders,
George and William Chaffey, and their later work in
Australia -- hopefully before September. Now I'll have to
go check out the map in my classroom where Tasmania is in relationlship
to Mildura, Australia. That's where George Chaffey established
another Chaffey College, still going today.

OK, so Tasmania is way south of Mellbourne, Australia. Looks like a long swim.

The Chaffey roots were up north of you, on the Murray River,
in Mildura, Victoria. Students at the Chaffey school in
Mildura (also founded by George Chaffey) have let me know

on Thursday here, so it must be 7:54 AM tomorrow on Friday.
Right? Also let me know if you, by chance, are related to
the Chaffey family that migrated from Ontario, Canada.

Just got an email from Kevin Britten
(current CHS water polo coach). It appears that there
will be an alumni game/bbq on campus on Sat., 9/11.
I was able to attend last year. Alot of laughs and
alot of good memories/friendships rekindled.
