Chaffey alumna. Just wanted to check in and share info with others. I have
been AWOL many years when it comes to contacts from Chaffey. I was one
of many alumni who went to Viet Nam and returned with a whole different
attitude about the world. Anyway - I am now living in Spokane, Washington
- married for 18 years (2nd marriage) and work for Eastern Washington University.
I am also an alumni of EWU and work for the Foundation as one of the Development
Officers for the university. Would be interested in talking to those Chaffey
alum who were in the Tiger
Marching Band (Jack Mercer, Dir.) and anyone else who remembers me!
Afterall, I am 52 now and the memories fade fast. |

Hi there, ex-Chaffey students from the golden
year 1967-68. I went to Chaffey as an exchange student that year.
My name is Anu Parikka (former Markkula) and I live in Finland. I stayed
with Joyce and the Maxie family that year and had lots of fun and many
friends.
I'll be back this April (19th or 20th), since I'm planning to travel
by car the whole of the old route 66 starting from Chicago to LA with my
husband and we'll be passing by Ontario just before Easter.
I'm ever so curious to see how much Chaffey and the city
of Ontario have changed over these years.
If any of my former pals happen to see this message before April, I

been announced yet. We are still posting and uploading the complete

Handbook on the Students' Page, but in the meantime, you can view the
